2023 Genesis G80 Electrified pricing bumped up as updated models arrive in Australia

Changes to the G80 are mostly interior and come not long after the ICE version's update.

Pricing for the Genesis G80 Electrified sedan has slightly increased as the models now arriving in Australia are those that have received the updates Genesis implemented for production in December 2022.

Stepping up pricing by a modest $2000, the G80 electric car now costs $147,000 before on-road costs, with its update being almost the same as that of its petrol counterpart.

Like the other G80 variants, the Electrified now comes with an updated, now raised, 'Genesis Integrated Controller' system similar to that of the GV70 which handles the in-car multimedia screen and allows the user to 'handwrite' on top of the dial.

It also now comes with the brand's 18-way adjustable 'Ergo Motion' function for both front seats, which has "seven air-cells inside the seat for a comfortable ride" which are individually controlled to provide support.

A wireless phone charger is also now included in the rear of the car instead of just one in the front.

Also like the petrol variants, the rear brake calipers now come with a colour-coded cover to "hide some of the more industrial aspects of the brakes".

So far this year, Genesis has shifted 16 G80 sedans across Electrified and petrol variants compared to 30 over the same period last year.
