THE Birmingham Small Arms company started making cars in 1907 and owned the Daimler company before selling it to Jaguar. The BSA Scout was a pretty front-wheel-drive sports car made between 1935 and 1939. It began with a 9hp four-cylinder engine that grew to 10hp in the Series 2.
