Should I buy a demo car?

I'm looking to buy a 2017 Mustang and am considering a demo model.

If it has several thousand kilometres of test-drives that have probably all been thrashing the car from cold, rather than having an easy run-in period, is this likely to cause problems down the track?

Would I be better just paying the extra for a new car?

Demos are not generally abused; they are mostly driven normally with reasonable care, often under the supervision of a salesman.

You’re worried unnecessarily, and besides, the car will still be covered by Ford’s warranty if it happens to have a problem.
