    We are a retired couple who drive a 2008 Falcon and a Toyota HiLux. I don’t drive a lot but I’d like to downsize to something smaller and sitting higher for better vision, so am thinking about a smallish SUV. The only one I have driven so far is the Subaru XV but I notice the new Mazda CX-3 has had a lot of good reports.

    I have just driven the CX-3, Honda HR-V and Renault Captur and rate the Mazda as clearly best of the bunch, as well as better than the XV. It gets The Tick but be careful that you don’t spend too much — there are 14 models in the line-up.
