Book a hotel room, get a free Mini loan car

Mini models such as the Countryman and Convertible can now be reserved when booking a room with QT Hotels.

QT Hotels has teamed with Mini to offer free cars alongside its room stays, touted as “Australia’s first automotive and hotel partnership of its kind”.

When booking a room at a QT hotel or resort, customers can opt for the ‘Vroom Service’ upgrade to reserve a Mini model alongside their room.

Vehicles on offer include the Countryman SUV, 5-door hatchback and Convertible, while participating hotel locations include Sydney, Bondi, Melbourne, Gold Coast, Canberra, Falls Creek and Perth.

Event communications boss Victoria Doidge said the hotel company is looking to offer its customers a unique experience.

“At QT, we are forever looking for ways to enhance our guest experience and deliver the unexpected,” she said.

“Handing over the keys to a room, with the keys to a Mini, certainly does that and we are excited to see where Vroom Service takes our guests.”

Meanwhile, Mini Australia marketing boss Alex McLean said: “We are thrilled at Mini to partner with QT.

“Their hotels and the exceptional experience they offer their guests aligns perfectly with our own Mini style,” he said.

“We are excited to see this partnership flourish in many unexpected ways.”

Plans are also underway for “additional activations” in the coming months.
