Honda CR-V +Sport 2018 pricing and spec confirmed

Honda has introduced a special-edition +Sport variant of its CR-V medium SUV, with the special model adding $4100 of extras over its donor version for a $1900 premium.

The +Sport will be limited to just 900 examples and is based on the entry-level front-wheel drive CR-V VTi. It is priced from $32,490 plus on-roads, with a national drive-away price of $35,490.

Building on the specification of the VTi, the +Sport adds 18-inch alloy wheels, the 'Lane Watch' blind-spot camera, front and rear parking sensors, rear privacy glass, black sports grille and a +Sport badge.

This is on top of the standard gear in the VTi such as smart keyless entry, three-mode reversing camera, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The +Sport retains the same drivetrain as the VTi, namely a turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine developing 140kW/240Nm, driving the front wheels through a continuously-variable transmission.

Four colours are offered on the CR-V +Sport, including 'Passion Red Pearlescent', 'Lunar Silver Metallic', 'White Orchid Pearlescent' and 'Modern Steel Metallic'.

Is the +Sport better value than the CR-V VTi-S? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
