Pricing for four of Renault's models in Australia have increased for the 2023 model year, with light specification changes to accompany them.

While the most popular model in Renault's local range, the Koleos SUV, underwent a mild update and price increase earlier this year, it's spared from the new round.

Instead, two smaller SUVs, the Captur small SUV and the not-much-bigger Arkana medium SUV have had prices increased by up to $1200.

Now kicking off from $33,000 before on-road costs, the Captur remains the brand's cheapest SUV despite receiving the largest price bump in this round - $1200.

The small SUV now comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as lane-centering function on the Intens and RS Line models.

Unfortunately, renualt has removed a couple of features such as the leather shift knob wrap, now synthetic leatherette, and some soft-touch plastics.

The most expensive Captur, the RS Line, remains unchanged at $41,300.

The Arkana SUV is now a $37,500 offering at its base Zen variant, up by $700 from before. The RS Line for the Arkana, however, also cops the same price increase, meaning it's now $45,000.

Renault's quirky Megane RS hot hatch, in its Trophy guise, has had a $500 price increase, now starting from $63,500. It also gains wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Finally, the Renault Master van has been given a significant pricing bump, all variants up by more than $1000, to now start from almost $50,000 in its base short-wheelbase, low-roof, front-wheel drive - now $49,700, or $1100 more than before.

Even the 12-seater bus variant of the Master, now $68,700, copped the same price adjustment.

Renault Australia confirmed the Master now comes with car-to-car AEB as standard, as well as rear parking sensors and blind spot warnings, lane departure warning, and auto high-beam.
