Renault's top model! Renault Koleos pricing and update announced for 2023

Renault’s most popular model in Australia has been updated for the 2023 model year, with the entry-level grade gaining upgrades and a price bump, while the top spec loses some features.

With pricing for the base front-wheel drive Renault Koleos Life variant kicking off at $37,000 before on-road costs, the Renault medium SUV is now $2000 more expensive at its entry point than before.

The Life does however gain blind-spot monitoring, height adjustment for its front seats, ambient lighting, front and side parking sensors, tinted windows, and a new 18-inch alloy wheel design.

The mid-spec Zen now comes in both front- and all-wheel drive and costs $41,700 or $44,200 respectively. The front-drive version is $2900 more expensive than before, and the all-wheel drive version is new to the range.

Zen gains black leather upholstery, an 8.7-inch multimedia touchscreen, park assist, a hands-free tailgate, and LED reversing light.

At the top end, the Intens spec is $200 more expensive for both front- and all-wheel drive variants, $45,200 and $47,700 respectively.

It now has an Arkamys sound system to replace the Bose system, and Sand Grey Nappa leather is no longer an option.

All versions of the Koleos lose their front fog lights and wide-view drivers side mirror.

“Koleos is the backbone of the Renault passenger car brand,” said Glen Sealey, Renault Australia general manager, referring to the Koleos makes up almost half the brand’s passenger car sales.

Even including its commercial vehicles, Renault sold 7119 vehicles in 2022 up to the end of October, and 2084 of those were Koleos. The medium SUV alone was up 73.7 per cent compared to its sales last year.
