My 2007 Ford Territory has an intermittent starting problem. Every so often when you turn the ignition to start it struggles to turnover or wont turnover. It's as if the battery was flat, but if you wait a couple of seconds and try again and it starts fine. I'd appreciate your thoughts.
The first thing to do is to check the battery to make sure it's ok. If it is the original battery, it's now five years old and could well be in need of replacement. If the battery checks out ok I'd be checking the engine sensors, like the crank angle sensor, and their connections.
