Is now a good time to buy a new car and is February also a good, or better, for last year's plated cars? The Kia deal savings ends December 31 but will it continue into 2016? Lastly, are the savings on the Kia Rio for real with a free auto upgrade or has that been factored into the cost?

The best time to buy is January, when dealers and car companies are trying to clear all their 2015 stock. Just like northern hemisphere horses, they all get a year older on January 1. A free auto upgrade is one of the typical baits these days, since more than 90 per cent of people buy an auto and companies can offer an effective $1500 value boost.
