The One-77 is exactly the sort of car James Bond should be driving in the next 007 movie, from its super-aggressive nose to flared guards which prove it has been in the gym and pumping massive amounts of steroids.
Aston teased with peeks of the 0ne-77 at the Detroit Motor Show last year but ripped the wraps off at the Geneva Motor Show - although there is still no confirmation of a pricetag likely to be in the $1 million region.
But the British sports car company has confirmed there will only be 77 copies of its new hero.
The mechanical package for the One-77 is built around a rigid carbon fibre monocoque chassis fitted with a 7.3-litre V12 engine with power in excess of 560kW.
The car's weight should be in the 1500 kilo region, light enough for a 0-100km/h sprint in around 3.5 seconds and a top speed on the far side of 320km/h.
Other go-fast gear on the car includes giant Pirelli P Zero tyres on 20-inch rims, a robotized six-speed sequential manual gearbox, carbon ceramic brakes and what Aston calls 'Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve' technology.
