This full-sized American sedan (pillared and pillarless) was assembled locally from CKD kits and sold in Australia from 1962 to 1969 through Holden dealers.

By the late 1960s, the Impala was offered with a 5.4-litre (327ci) small block V8 engine driving the rear wheels through a two-speed ‘PowerGlide’ auto transmission.

The line-up currently starts at $7,920 for the Impala (base) and ranges through to $10,780 for the range-topping Impala (base).
