Internationally, the Terramar is available in eight colours, four are grey, including the matt 'Enceladus Grey' hero colour, but there is also black, white, and the choice of two blues.
Standard items on the Terramar are expected to include LED headlights, large alloy wheels, a variety of synthetic and sustainable interior trims in place of leather, bucket front seats, a 12.9-inch multimedia touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It also features sports dampers and suspension and progressive steering alongside tri-zone climate control and a full array of active safety equipment
The Terramar's interior is set apart by being both driver focused and also made up of an array of unusual colours, textures, and materials. It also features large touchscreens from concurrent Volkswagen Group products.
There are two confirmed engines for the Terramar, a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol turbo (195TSI) producing 195kW/400Nm, and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbocharged plug-in hybrid which produces a combined 200kW/400Nm.
The Terramar is strictly a five-seat mid-size SUV.
The Terramar's boot space measures 508 litres according to international specs, which shrinks to 400 litres for the PHEV variant.
The Terramar can sprint from 0-100km/h in 7.3 seconds in 1.5-litre PHEV form or 5.9 seconds in 2.0-litre petrol 195TSI AWD form. Top speed is around 240km/h.
The plug-in hybrid Terramar has up to 112km of electric-only range, and a combined range of up to 910km according to figures for internationally-specified cars.
