A super compact ‘kei’ car that dared to make it in Australia, the Daihatsu Cuore (known as the ‘L700’ Mira in Japan) didn’t last long Downunder.
The Toyota-owned small car specialist left the market in March 2006 officially.
The Charade and Mira will be better remembered than the practical but slow Curoe, which was available with a one-litre three-cylinder petrol engine paired with either a five-speed manual or three-speed automatic.
The line-up currently starts at $2,310 for the Cuore (base) and ranges through to $3,850 for the range-topping Cuore (base).
