The Kia Rondo is a small people mover-slash-hatchback that has been on sale in Australia since 2008.
All variants of the first-generation Rondo have been equipped with a four-speed automatic until the series was replaced in 2013, when a six-speed automatic was introduced.
The 2013 upgrade also saw an improvement to the base 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine and the introduction of the 1.7-litre turbo-diesel model.
Prices for the front-wheel drive car range from $13,750 to $18,920 for the Rondo S and Rondo SI (nav) variants, respectively.
The Kia Rondo can also be called the Kia Rondo7, Kia New Face, Kia Carens, and Kia New Face.
Oil manufacturers recommend a 5W20 or 5W30 fully synthetic oil for this vehicle. For the record, you’ll need 4,5 litres to perform an oil change, and don’t forget to replace the oil filter at the same time. Putting clean oil through an old, dirty filter makes no sense.

You're on the right track with looking at the camshaft-angle sensor. But rather than the actual sensor itself, the problem is likely to be within the wiring that connects the sensor to the car's computer. Without a good, solid condition, the best sensor in the world can't relay the information that the computer needs to command the engine to start.
The next step is a visit to an auto electrician who should be able to test the cam-sensor circuit and check for problems with fuses, wires, connectors and any other component that could be causing the information breakdown.

Service costs won’t be affected, but some people might be put off because it’s no longer on sale. Parts will still be readily available through Kia for a long time to come.

The quirky Rondo boasts heaps of practical interior space, but the dated look and feel of the trim keep Kia’s tallboy hatch from greatness.
The dashboard boasts a 4.3-inch multimedia touchscreen that is functional, if not flashy. A leather-like material is found on the steering wheel and doors, but the rest of the interior is hard, scratchy plastic, as seen in these images. Occupants have ample room though, and there are significant storage options peppered throughout.
