Mercedes-Benz GT63 Pricing & Specs

The price range for the Mercedes-Benz GT63 varies based on the trim level you choose. Starting at $343,420 and going to $394,790 for the latest year the model was manufactured. The model range is available in the following body types starting from the engine/transmission specs shown below.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Interior

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ has quite a large and spacious interior for a sports coupe.

Long doors open wide, allowing easy entry to and egress from the low-slung front seats. Most controls and switchgear are within reach, while the driving position is first class.

The dashboard looks similar to any contemporary Mercedes fascia, with turbine vents and a large, tablet-style touchscreen in the centre (at 11.9-inches), providing fast and intuitive access to a variety of vehicle functions.

The driver, meanwhile, sits ahead of a multi-configurable electronic instrumentation display, offering a choice of different screen styles, from track-telemetry designs to classic and minimalist views.

Other plus points include quality material and trim finishes for a solid feel, ample ventilation and plentiful storage solutions.

But some rattles can be heard, rear vision is poor, while some people might want a dash that doesn’t look like it is pinched from a Mercedes GLE SUV.

Being a strict two-plus-two four-seater coupe, access to the back seats is restricted, and headroom is completely inadequate for most people over 150cm tall. But the cushions and split-folding backrests are surprisingly sufficient for adults who fit, at least for short trips.

And the sense of cocooning luxury is prevalent throughout the GT.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Colours

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ is available in the following colours: Obsidian Black Metallic, High-Tech Silver Metallic, Spectral Blue Metallic, Selenite Grey Metallic, Sun Yellow Non-Metallic.

Extra-cost paints include AMG Green Hell Magno, Spectral Blue Magno, Opalite White Magno, Hyper Blue Magno, Opalite White Bright, Patagonia Red Bright and Alpine Grey Solid.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Accessories

As you’d expect from a flagship grand tourer coupe from Mercedes-AMG, the GT63 4Matic+ comes with all the usual luxuries.

These include adaptive LED headlights, an electronic instrument display, an 11.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, heated/vented climate-controlled AMG sports seats with inflatable bolstering and massaging functionality, satellite navigation, full stop/go adaptive cruise control, leather trim, climate control, a 360-degree camera, privacy glass and 21-inch alloy wheels.

Additionally, the German 2+2 coupe offers a front-axle lift system with GPS-enabled memory, a fixed glass roof, satellite navigation with augmented-reality, a head-up display, performance telemetry data, 11-speaker Burmester audio, a handsfree-powered tailgate and cutting-edge driver-assist safety tech.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Engine

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ employs a “handcrafted” 4.0-litre twin-turbo intercooled V8 making 430kW of power at 6500rpm and 800Nm of torque from 2500-4500rpm.

It sends drive to all four wheels via a nine-speed multi-clutch transmission (dubbed MCT in AMG-speak), while the 4Matic+ AWD system offers 50/50 front/rear, to 100 per cent rear only, variable torque distribution.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Dimensions

The dimensions of the Mercedes-Benz GT63 Sedan vary according to year of manufacture and spec level.
The dimensions shown above are for the base model.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Wheel Size

The Mercedes-Benz GT63 has a number of different wheel and tyre options. When it comes to tyres, these range from 275x35 ZR21 for Sedan in 2021.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Towing Capacity

The Mercedes-Benz GT63 has no towing capacity for the latest model available.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Seats

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ comes standard with a 2+2 seating arrangement, meaning a set of plush yet well-bolstered bucket seats up front (complete with electric adjustment and climate-controlled heating/cooling), along with a pair of smaller seats designed for people under 150cm tall.

The front seats can be swapped out for racier, more-heavily bolstered sports seats with a different shape and firmer cushioning. Great for track work. They cost extra.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Fuel consumption

The Mercedes-Benz GT63 is available in a number of variants and body types that are powered by PULP fuel type(s). It has an estimated fuel consumption starting from 11.3L/100km for Sedan

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Boot Space

The C192 series Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ has much greater cargo capacity than its C190 predecessor, nearly doubling to 321-litres with backrests up, and stretching to 675L (a jump of 325L) in two-seater mode.

The flat floor is accessed via a large electrically operated liftback door. But don’t bother looking for a spare wheel, since that’s been replaced by a tyre inflation kit.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Speed

The Mercedes-AMG GT63 4Matic+ can accelerate from zero to 100km/h (0-100km/h) in just 3.2 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 315km/h.

Mercedes-Benz GT63 Range

Mercedes-AMG states that the GT63 4Matic+ averages 14.6L/100km, which translates to a carbon dioxide emissions rating of 334g/km.

Using 98 RON premium unleaded petrol, an average of just under 480km between refills of the 70L tank is possible. The urban run sees consumption jump to 21.8L/100km for 321km of range, or 10.4 out on the highway run, meaning that over 670km is possible.
