Flip it and reverse it.

A lot of people complain that certain racing categories like Formula 1 and Supercars have become boring, but this isn't the case with reverse racing.

Yes, in the '80s the Dutch did motorsport a little differently and it was possibly the most exciting and fun form of racing ever seen on the planet.

As the name suggests, drivers raced their cars in reverse gear making it tricky to stay in a straight line at speed.

However, adding to the difficulty was a large line-up of cars and jumps that sent drivers off in all directions. Crashing was a given.

You might think the racing is on a straight track but there are twists and turns, not that everyone makes it to the first corner.

By the end of the race no car is left without a dent, some are even missing wheels, and others finish on their roofs.

The racing is even more enteratining to watch when viewed in reverse (which implies they're going forward), especially when it comes to the crashes and jumps.

Should reverse racing make a return? Let us know in the comments.

His other passions include Queensland, and spending Saturdays with the boys.
