Originally powered by a 700cc four-cylinder engine, the quirky Bond Bug was never a speed demon.

However, this British guy has transformed his three-wheeled Bug into the devil's golf cart.

Using a high-revving 1.3-litre engine from a Suzuki Hayabusa with an added turbo, around 225kW is sent to the rear wheels.

With that type of power in such a small car, you can imagine just how much of a handful it is.

Even on the dragstrip it struggles to gain traction, but still manages to blow everything away running the quarter mile (400m) in just over 11 seconds.

What would you engine swap into a Bond Bug? Let us know in the comments.
