Ford’s resurrected Bronco has proven to be a major hit in the US, but there’s still no concrete signs for the off-road SUV coming to Australia.
That’s despite the Bronco sharing the same ladder-frame underpinnings as the Ranger ute, Ford Australia’s most popular model, meaning a right-hand-drive conversion should be easy – at least in theory.
Still, once the Bronco hype dies down in the US, it could free up supply for export markets like Australia, or even enough of a batch to right-hand-drive remanufacture like Ford has done so with the F-150.
The line-up currently starts at $8,910 for the Bronco (4X4) and ranges through to $12,540 for the range-topping Bronco (4X4).
