    Toyota Crown 1985: Buying tips

    I'm looking at buying a 1985 Toyota Crown Royal, but I don't know much about them. I'm wondering where I could find out more about Crowns, i.e. what problems to look out for etc. so I'm not buying a lemon.

    The Crown was a well-built, reliable car in its day, but you’re buying an old car so you should expect to have problems due to age and presumably high kilometres. The best thing to do is to contact a Toyota club and ask them for advice. They are the experts and should be able to help you.
