The Toyota Crown is a luxury sedan that was sold in Australia for two decades between 1964 and 1988, when it was built locally at Toyota’s Port Melbourne plant.
The Crown continues to be produced in Japan, and the current generation Crown is one of the companies oldest namesakes.
The latest generation was released in Japan in 2022, although you won’t find it in Australia as it is a direct competitor to the Toyota-owned Lexus ES sedan.
The line-up currently starts at $4,620 for the Crown Royal and ranges through to $6,820 for the range-topping Crown Royal.
