BMW Australia has introduced the M35i Pure grade to its X2 small SUV line-up, priced at $64,400 before on-road costs.
Sitting $5000 below the flagship $69,400 X2 M35i, the Pure is still powered by a 225kW/450Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, and features an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel-drive grip.
The M35i Pure is also pricier than the $60,400 20d grade of the X2, as well as the 20i and 18i that kick off from $56,500 and $47,400 respectively.
Standard equipment on the M35i Pure includes 20-inch wheels, automatic tailgate, head-up display, darkened headliner and ‘High-Gloss Shadow Line’ exterior accents.
M Sport goodies include front sports seats, brakes, differential and suspension.
Stepping up to the M35i, BMW adds leather upholstery, electric seat adjustment with lumbar support, front seat heating, uprated sound system and keyless entry.
