Volvo Australia has adjusted pricing for some of its models ahead of the 2024 model year, with three of its SUVs and its more traditional models all now pricier than before.

Starting with the most popular Volvo model so far this year, the XC40 small SUV is up by $1500 at its entry-level variant: the XC40 Plus B4 now starts from $54,990 before on-road costs.

Most variants of the model are up, save for the Ultimate B5 Dark which has been reduced by $2000 to $62,990 and is placed closer to the Ultimate B5 Bright AWD at $61,990.

The top-spec XC40 Recharge electric car is up $4500 to $85,990.

The similarly sized C40 electric car is also now a little pricier, with the entry Pure up by $3000 to $78,990.

Sizing up again is the XC60, now starting from $73,990 as the two petrol-only B5 variants are up $1000 each.

Finally, the S60 sedan and V60 wagon are both up in price, the lone B5 variants now $69,990 and $74,990 respectively.

A Volvo Australia spokesperson also confirmed there are specification updates for the models with pricing changes, for example there's now heated steering wheel and seats, front and rear, as well as the brand’s ‘Pixel’ headlights for the XC40 Ultimate Bright and Dark variants.
