The $55,990 Commodore VXR forms a new performance flagship for the all-new ZB Commodore line-up, replacing the SS models of the past.
Available only in the five-door Liftback bodystyle, the top-spec VXR is closest to the RS-V in terms of features. It adds VXR-specific sports seats with power adjustable bolsters and ventilation up front, heated rear seats, Bose premium audio, adaptive suspension, adaptive cruise control, Brembo brakes, VXR floor mats and sill plates, active LED headlights, a 360-degree view camera setup, electric sunroof, and 20-inch alloy wheels.
The VXR is only available with the 235kW/381Nm V6 petrol engine, which also brings the clever Twinster all-wheel drivetrain. Like all petrol ZB Commodores, the VXR is paired with a nine-speed torque converter auto. The official combined fuel consumption figure is 9.3L/100km.
