The Skoda Rapid is a small sedan that is heavily based on the Volkswagen Jetta.
Introduced in 2014 as an alternative other small cars like the Ford Focus, Holden Astra, Peugeot 308, Mazda3, and Volkswagen Jetta, the Rapid features a single turbo-petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that sends power to the front wheels.
A sedan bodystyle was originally offered, but that has since been dropped in 2015 in favour of a ‘spaceback’ wagon.
Prices for the Skoda Rapid range from $18,150 to $22,990 for the Rapid Spaceback 92 TSI and Rapid Spaceback 92 TSI variants, respectively.
