The Hyundai Kona N Line is a new and sporty variant in the Kona range, pairing a 1.6-litre turbocharged engine with a seven-speed DCT, a sportier suspension setup and AWD.
It’s your for $36,300, with the equipment largely matching that of the Kona Elite - which means 18-inch alloys and a 10.25-inch centre screen, as well as a red-trimmed interior treatment designed to feel a little sportier.
The turbocharged engine produces 146kW and 265Nm, and the result is the sportiest option in the Kona family - at least until the full-blown N car arrives.
While all Hyundais’ are covered by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty - which is now neither the best nor the worst warranty coverage available - there are some changes to servicing you need to know about.
While 2.0-litre cars require a trip to the service centre every 12 months or 15,000kms, cars with a turbocharged engine - like the N Line - need servicing every 12 months or 10,000kms.
