At the top of the Mitsubishi Outlander range is the Exceed Tourer for $49,990 and it’s exclusively available in all-wheel drive only.
Standard features on the Exceed Tourer include, two-tone exterior paint and two tone leather interior, massaging front seats, three-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, power driver and passenger front seats, pull-up sunshades for the back windows and a Bose sound system.
There are also 20-inch alloys wheels, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 360-degree monitor, and a head up display, 9.0-inch media display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, a reversing camera, push-button start, privacy glass, automatic headlights with auto high beam, leather steering wheel, a proximity key, roof rails, a wireless phone charger and rain sensing wipers, and LED headlights and running lights.
The Outlander has a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine making 135kW and 245Nm.
The 2022 Outlander has yet to be given an ANCAP safety rating, but it does come with a raft of safety features such as forward AEB, lane keeping assistance and blind spot warning on all grades. The LS grade and above gains reverse AEB and rear cross traffic alert, too.
Please note that airbags do not extend to cover passengers in the third row.
