The Volkswagen T-Cross arrived on the Australian market in early 2020. The city-sized, Polo-based SUV is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. It’s offered in two models - the entry-level listing at just $30,990, and the at $33,490. Well equipped in terms of standard features, as well as active and passive safety tech, the T-Cross competes in one the new car market’s hottest segments against the likes of the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Kia Seltos, Mazda CX-3, Toyota’s C-HR, and many more.
