Entry-level Outlander shoppers can option the LS with all-wheel drive and seven seats ($33,500), which also earns you a bigger 2.4-litre petrol engine that will produce 124kW at 6000rpm and 220Nm at 4200rpm.
Expect the same 7.0-inch touchscreen that will sync with your iPhone or Android device, matched with a six-speaker stereo which you can control via steering wheel buttons. Outside, you'll find 18-inch alloys, keyless entry and and a shark-fin antenna, while inside, you can expect cloth seats, dual-zone climate control and powered windows. You'll also get electric exterior mirrors and, exclusive to the AWD model, an electric parking brake.
Like the rest of the Outlander range, the LS AWD seven seat model gets the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating, thanks to its seven airbags, reversing camera and rear parking sensors. But there's no AEB, active cruise or lane departure warning system at this trim level.
