Though Nissan’s luxury division Infiniti might not have lasted long in Australia, the Patrol-based QX80 large off-road SUV is still a desirable model.
Sharing much with the Patrol including the 5.6-litre petrol V8 with a 298kW/560Nm output and rugged ladder-frame chassis, the QX80 differentiates itself with unique styling and a more upmarket interior.
Sadly, the QX80 was discontinued when Infiniti decided to exit the Australian market in 2019, just before sales of the Toyota LandCruiser and Nissan Patrol would explode due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The line-up currently starts at $57,200 for the QX80 Sport and ranges through to $65,780 for the range-topping QX80 Sport.
If you need space, the interior of the Infiniti QX80 will meet your needs. There's room in three rows for adults, and the materials, trim and leather quality was all top notch for the money. Check out our images to see if you like it - the dashboard design was always a bit divisive.
The following Infiniti QX80 is available with seven seats, including power 60:40 split folding third row seats. The QX80 Sport is only available with Graphite Semi-Alanine Quilted leather seat upholstery.
