Jeep's mid-sized five-door, five seat Cherokee is unashamedly unusual in the looks department, and it doesn't care one bit. The love-it-or-hate-it nose treatment hasn't stopped people flocking to the car.
Jeep sells the US-built Cherokee in Australia in six levels of trim, from an entry level 2.4-litre four-cylinder FWD Sport and more luxurious Limited, through to an off-road specific Trailhawk. As well as the 2.4-litre engine, Jeep sells the Cherokee with a 3.2-litre V6 petrol engine as well as a 2.0-litre diesel, which is restricted to the Limited model. Whether you get the base Cherokee S-Limited (awd) for $54,010, or spend $62,040 for the top-of-the-range Cherokee S-Limited (awd), all are offered with the same nine-speed automatic.
