Lexus RX 2016

The 2016 Lexus RX range of configurations is currently priced from $35,400. Our most recent review of the 2016 Lexus RX resulted in a score of 6 out of 10 for that particular example.

Carsguide Craig Jamieson had this to say at the time: The RX450h F Sport poses a bit of a conundrum, frankly. It's a hybrid Lexus SUV, yet it's festooned with sporting paraphernalia. It's dressed with avant-garde flair from the outside, but it's reserved and handsome inside. It's a full-size SUV, but offers only five seats and cargo space that'll soon struggle to deal with five passengers' luggage. And it's ostensibly a modern, environmentally friendly hybrid, yet it employs battery technology that's wasteful and behind the times.

This is what Craig Jamieson liked most about this particular version of the Lexus RX: The 12.3 inch widescreen display with split info screens, Hybrid system delivers a seamless transfer between petrol and electric, Well-sorted suspension that blends control & comfort

The 2016 Lexus RX carries a braked towing capacity of up to 1500 Kg, but check to ensure this applies to the configuration you're considering.

  • Is RX350 Sport Luxury missing a safety feature?

Lexus says all of the individual features in the package are fitted to the Sport Luxury but they are not linked because that setup is focused on performance driving and it was not regarded as a priority for the luxury flagship.

  • Kluger or RX 3250?

I am not a fan of the new Kluger, so it would definitely be the Lexus RX for me.
