I have a 2014 Holden Cruze Equip manual hatchback that I purchased brand new in 2014. I know some people who have had difficulties with their 2010 Holden Cruze auto transmissions to the point it has cost them $6000 in repairs with Holden only refunding $1000. I haven't had any issues with my car, but everyone is recommending I cut my losses before I have any issues. I know the transmission issue shouldn't impact my manual, but is there anything else I should be weary of? Are the 2014 models as dodgy as the 2010s?
You’re right that lots of owners have had trouble with the automatic transmission in their Cruzes, but yours being a manual isn’t affected by that problem. I wouldn’t be taking the advice to get out of it.
