Peugeot Australia has confirmed pricing for its seven-seat medium SUV, the 5008, a hybrid-powered larger sibling to the existing 3008.
With expressions of interest now open, the 2025 Peugeot 5008 Hybrid will start from $55,990 before on-roads for the entry grade 5008 Allure Hybrid, or $67,990 for a step up to the 5008 GT Premium Hybrid.
Both variants are powered by the same drivetrain, a combination of 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine and 21kW electric motor to produce a total 107kW, driving the front wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The hybrid motor is a 21kW unit that draws power from a 0.9kWh 48-volt lithium-ion battery, and aims to improve efficiency and torque during acceleration.
Peugeot hasn’t officially detailed the features available in either Allure or GT Premium grades specifically, but standard equipment listed includes a 21.0-inch panoramic i-Cockpit multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a customisable virtual ‘i-Toggle’ touchscreen for menu shortcuts.
In terms of cabin vibes, ambient lighting, real aluminium detailing and natural recycled ‘mottled fabric’ all feature for styling and materials, though it’s likely the interior will feature extra kit in the GT Premium.
In the UK for example, this means leather seats with heating up front and a heated steering wheel, coloured ambient lighting, more aluminium trim and sunblinds for the rear doors.

In Australia, specification differences in the five-seater 3008 amount to the GT Premium gaining features like a panoramic sunroof, massage function for the front seats, and second row outboard heated seats.
A premium sound system or more on-road relevant features like Pixel LED headlights and LED tail-lights could also come with the step-up from Allure.

Inside, the 5008 will offer an impressive boot volume of 348 litres even with all the seats up, 916 litres with the third row folded, or 2232 litres with the second row also folded.
Another standard for both variants is a decent suite of safety features, including lane departure warning, long-range blind spot detection, rear cross traffic alert, lane-centring and of course adaptive cruise control.
