Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2020 to be revealed later this month

This is the first official image of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2020 model.

A facelifted version of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is due to make its international debut later this month.

The debut of the 2020 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is scheduled for 25 July, and it will take place in Thailand, where the model is built on the same production line as the Triton ute that it’s based upon.

An initial teaser image of the front-end of the updated Pajero Sport has been offered up by the brand, showing the company’s Dynamic Shield styling language has been evolved for the facelift model.

You can see that the bumper is reworked, with what appear to be fog-lights sitting up higher than on the current version. That gives the front a wider look, while the headlights and grille appear to be largely unchanged.

It's expected that the changes won't be limited only to the front of the updated Pajero Sport.

Mitsubishi says the “new Pajero Sport will offer further improvements to its design, convenience, comfort and quality”, with new safety gear, tech and possibly revamped tail-lights and a revised rear-end design also set to debut.

The 2020 update is the first major change to the Pajero Sport model since it launched in 2015. Stay tuned, we’ll bring you more information when it’s available, and post additional images when they come to hand.

You can expect the facelifted version of the Pajero Sport to launch in Australia in the last quarter of 2019.
