The BMW 430i Coupe is priced at $79,900 and replaces the 428i Coupe in the 4 Series range, which is itself a spin-off of the 3 Series.

This list price is $11,000 more than the 420i Coupe below it. The 2016 update adds additional standard features including Adaptive M suspension, a heads-up display, a nine-speaker stereo, surround-view camera and lane departure warning.

The entire 430i line uses BMW’s 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine tweaked to make 185kW and 350Nm. It’s mated to a standard eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. A six-speed manual gearbox is a no-cost option.

Is the 430i Coupe your pick of the new 4 Series range? Tell us why, or why not, in the comments below.
