Perhaps the most iconic model in Ferrari’s esteemed 85-year history, the F40 graced the automotive market in 1987 for a limited run of 1,322 vehicles.
Built to celebrate the company’s 40th birthday, the F40 was the last model personally approved by the company’s founder, Enzo Ferrari, and was Ferrari’s most powerful and expensive model produced at the time.
It was also the first production vehicle to hit 200 mph. A true expression of Ferrari’s racing pedigree, the F40 bore no creature comforts, its cabin only slightly more comfortable than an F1 car. Bellissimo.
A Ferrari F40 has a 2.9-litre twin-turbocharged V8 that is capable of producing 352kW/557Nm at peak power.

1311 Ferrari F40's were produced, with just 10 making their way to Australia. It's unclear exactly how many are left, but its highly likely a good portion are still getting around, either on the roads or in museums.
