Launched in 2011, the Ferrari FF marked a radical departure for the Prancing Horse. FF stood for *Ferrari Four* — a nod to its four seats and four-wheel drive, the first ever fitted to a Ferrari road car. With its long bonnet, shooting brake styling and 6.3-litre V12, the FF blended grand touring luxury with blistering supercar performance.
The FF’s 485kW engine propelled it from 0–100km/h in just 3.7 seconds, while its bespoke 4RM all-wheel drive system delivered surprising traction in all conditions. Its unusual design polarised enthusiasts, but Ferrari fans praised its practicality and 450L boot space.
Though replaced by the GTC4Lusso in 2016, the Ferrari FF remains a fascinating chapter in Maranello’s modern era. It proved that performance and usability could coexist, setting the stage for more versatile Ferraris and expanding the brand’s reach beyond traditional supercar buyers.
The line-up currently starts at $538,010 for the FF (base) and ranges through to $618,420 for the range-topping FF (base).
