    Jaguar E-Pace Review, Interior, For Sale, Colours & News in Australia

    The E-Pace is a Small SUV from British luxury automaker Jaguar.

    Joining Jaguar’s ‘Pace’ family of SUVs in 2018, the E-Pace sits below the larger F-Pace mid-size SUV and is designed to take on German rivals in the form of the BMW X1 and X2, Audi Q3 or Mercedes-Benz GLA.

    The Jaguar E-Pace starts at E-Pace P250 R-Dynamic SE (183KW) available from $76,773 and tops out at the E-Pace P250 R-Dynamic HSE (183KW) at $81,920.

    The E-Pace shares a platform with the smaller Range Rover Evoque from Jaguar’s sister brand, Land Rover.

    Jaguar E-Pace Interior

    The Jaguar E-Pace interior looks sleek enough but features some cheap plastic around the gear lever, in the doors, and right around the window switches in an area you’ll touch every day. The shabby grey plastic surround of the shifter is made of the kind of nasty stuff Hyundai no longer uses. If you tap on it it makes the kind of noise you’d expect from a kids’ lunch box.

    Fortunately, the steering wheel still feels premium, leather trim is standard or available on all models, and as shown in our road test review images, the touchscreen in the dashboard is large and top quality and there’s plenty about the E-Pace that reflects Jaguar design. But it’s hard to get past the feeling that corners have been cut.
