The Kia Sportage GT-Line is a five-door, five-seat medium SUV that is available with either AWD petrol or AWD diesel drivetrains.
It comes with either a 2.4-litre naturally aspirated engine that makes 135kW/237Nm and is priced at $44,790, or a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 136kW/400Nm, priced at $47,690. The petrol engine is backed by a six-speed auto, and the diesel gets an eight-speed auto.
It sits above the Si at $29,990/$35,390 (petrol/diesel). the Si Premium at $32,390/37,690 and SLi at $36,790/$42,190.
All Sportages come standard with AEB and lane keep assist, along with a reversing camera, six airbags and parking sensors. The GT-Line comes with an automatic tailgate, keyless entry, auto lights and wipers, as well as gadgets like LED headlights and fog lamps, dual-zone climate control, GPS sat nav, vented and heated powered seats, a sunroof, park assist, and an 8.0-inch multimedia touchscreen system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
