Manufactured from 1977 right up to the present day and sold in Australia between 1983 and 1999, the Lada Niva 4x4 is an off-road icon.

It makes the Suzuki Jimny look like a Rolls-Royce with its touchscreen, climate control and comparatively ergonomic seats.

The Niva is an enduring symbol of simplicity much like the 70 Series LandCruiser yet reflects an entirely different set of sensibilities having been born in the Soviet Union.
