    Carsguide Contributing Journalist Bill McKinnon had this to say at the time: At $122,400 in standard nick, the Macan Turbo is a big spend for what is, in reality, a compact rather than mid-size SUV. However, as a drive it is in a class of its own, so the price is reasonable in that context. It makes the 250kW 3.0-litre twin turbo-petrol Macan S look like a bargain at $86,700. Drive both and you may wonder if the Macan Turbo's 0.6 of a second advantage in the 0-100km/h blast off is worth an extra $35,700.
