While still a nameplate used by Honda’s Acura brand in the US, the Honda Acuras that were sold in Australia were finished by the mid-2000s, lasting four generations over about two decades.
The front-drive model was, in most cases, a two-door, with a mix of relatively standard models joined eventually by Type-R versions, powered by four-cylinder engines with Honda’s famous ‘VTEC’ valve timing giving the engines a high-revving, high-power characteristic without turbocharging.
