LDV T60 2017 accessory range revealed

Hot on the heels of the recent Aussie launch of its new T60 dual-cab ute, LDV Automotive has launched a range of accessories to give the ute even more bush cred.

The accessory range includes carpet or rubber floor mats; clear or smoked wind deflectors; bonnet and headlight protectors and a cargo mat. There are two different polished alloy nudge bars, both with mounts for the additional driving lights, which are also an LDV accessory; one of the nudge bars has an underbody bash plate.

Canopy maker Carryboy has produced a colour-matched canopy, with locking side and rear smoked-glass windows, and a sliding alloy load tray, for the Chinese-built LDV T60. A range of cross bars fit the standard roof rails, which are on every LDV T60.

With the canopy fitted, roof-rack options include a full-length powder-coated roof rack and rollers at the rear to help with the loading of long or heavy materials or equipment.

For those owners who don’t opt for a canopy, hard lids or soft tonneau covers will be available. LED tub lights and 12-volt power sockets can be added to the ute tray. Other accessories include an LDV T60 towbar, a ladder rack and sports bars.

“LDV dealers across Australia are offering a full range of accessories that are ideal for business and recreational use, that make the LDV T60 more flexible, boost its load capacity and make that capacity easier to use,” general manager of LDV Automotive Dinesh Chinnappa said. “There are accessories to keep the T60 clean, to protect it in difficult conditions and keep its contents secure.”

The diesel-only 2.8-litre 110kW/360Nm LDV T60 is available in one body style – dual-cab – and two trim levels: Pro, aimed at tradies, and Luxe, aimed at the dual-purpose or family recreation market. The four options are: Pro manual, Pro automatic, Luxe manual and Luxe automatic. It is available with a six-speed manual or auto transmission. All LDV T60s are 4WD with high and low range.

Accessory pricing has not yet been made available, but the LDV T60 is in showrooms now.
