Skoda has re-worked its capped price servicing across all models.

The new capped plans are significantly cheaper, with Skoda claiming their line-up is now “among the least expensive to service” in each category. The Czech brand even claims the Kodiaq and Karoq SUVs are now the cheapest to service in their respective segments.

Skoda Australia boss Michael Irmer says that, due to the new packs, “Comparative data sourced from manufacturer websites busts the myth that all European cars are more expensive to maintain than those from Korea or Japan.”

Skoda's capped plans continue to be offered as three- or five-year pre-paid packages, and now cost up to $425 less over a three year period. The Kodiaq SUV is the most discounted now costing $950 over three years or $2100 over five years, representing a $425 or $750 discount respectively.

As with other Volkswagen group vehicles, the pre-paid capped price servicing packages can be bundled in with finance at the time of purchase.

Skoda's press material also highlights that the capped plans also include brake fluid and pollen filters -  which are often  excluded by other brands.

The new capped pricing is paired with the five-year, unlimited kilometre warranty introduced by the Czech brand in January 2017.

New Skoda service package pricing:

Skoda Fabia$760$1600

Skoda Octavia RS$860$1700
