Honda’s diminutive City first called Australia home in the mid-1980s as a two-seat van, while the fifth-generation City was launched here as a light passenger car in 2009 to sit beneath the Civic.
The sixth generation of the four-door, five-seat light sedan debuted in 2014, though it retained the same 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine. It grew a little in stature, and its boot rivalled larger medium sedans for size and volume.
Facelifted in 2017, the City can still be had from the City VTi with a five-speed manual gearbox at $12,760, though the CVT version reaching up to $22,330 for the City VTi-L is more popular with buyers.
If the camera is physically working and giving you an image – albeit a fuzzy one – the first thing to try is to physically clean the lens of the camera. Road grime, water, dust and even spider webs can all block the camera’s lens and make for a blurry image. A soft, clean cloth and some clean water might be enough to restore clarity.
If not, then you may have a problem with moisture actually inside the lens. This will require the camera to be disassembled to some degree to clean the inside of the lens.

You’re pretty safe with either car in terms of reliability, but resale would favour the Honda.

We recently reviewed the Honda City as used car buy. To summarise the City has 5-star safety, which means it has all of the safety features you want, it also has the features your daughter wants. Best of all owners are unanimous in their praise for the car. The price is on the high side, but being a drive-away deal you save on government charges, which makes it a pretty good buy.

The following Honda City is available with five seats. The VTi variant comes with Black fabric seat trim, with Black leather appointed seat trim reserved for the VTi-L variant.
Given they're mechanically related, it's no surprise the Honda City and Jazz have similar interiors. As these images show, the former has a layered dashboard with an off-centre touchscreen multimedia system. Being a budget-friendly option, it doesn't have the nicest trim and any trace of leather is artificial.
