The Audi Q3 small SUV has been a big success for Audi, as buyers across the automotive spectrum abandon sedans and hatchbacks in favour of high-riding SUVs. It’s not designed to carry sizeable loads, thanks in part to a swoopy coupe-esque roofline, but the Q3 is more about its front-seat passengers.
The five-seat Q3 can be had with 1.4-litre and 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engines as well as a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel, with prices ranging from $50,600 to $70,800 for the Q3 35 Tfsi and Q3 40 Tfsi Quattro S Line, respectively. While a front-wheel drive is offered, the majority of sales are for the all-wheel drive models.
Audi also offers a hot rod version known as the RS Q3, which sports the German brand’s awesome five-cylinder 2.5-litre turbo-petrol engine.
