The Jeep Cherokee Longitude is a five-door, five-seat medium SUV, and it's only available in automatic all-wheel drive guise.
It's powered by a 130kW/229Nm 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is backed by a traditional nine-speed automatic transmission. There's no manual version available.
The $41,950 Longitude sits above the Sport, which costs $35,950 before on road costs, and below the $46,950 4x4 V6 Limited, and the $48,450 4x4 V6-powered Trailhawk.
Updated for 2019 with new front and rear bumpers, LED lights front and rear, and a composite bonnet and tailgate, the Longitude comes with cloth trim, auto headlights and wipers, 17-inch alloys, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard.
