2024 Mazda CX-60 Summary

The CX-60 GT P50e is a new mid-spec plug-in hybrid model being offered by Mazda. It sits nestled next to its mid-sized stablemate, the CX-5, but Mazda is positioning it firmly in the premium SUV market with its equally premium price tag.

So, it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise that this new PHEV is being pitted against brands like Lexus and Volvo, both of which are well-known as leaders in luxury

But has Mazda created a true rival? I’ve been driving it for a week with my family of three to find out for you.

2024 Mercedes-Benz E300 Summary

It might not be as tribal as Ford vs Holden, but there’s a rivalry between BMW and Mercedes-Benz that occasionally becomes more obvious - the launch of the new Mercedes E-Class only months after the BMW 5 Series being one of those times.

But Mercedes has done something different. Instead of multiple variants and electric cars under the E-Class banner, Australia gets just one, the E300.

Is it enough to tackle the big Bavarian sedan in the sales race? We attended the Australian launch just north of Melbourne to find out.
