First released in Australia in May 2001, the Renault Megane is a small French hatchback that has appeared in numerous guises over the years, including a five-door hatch, two-door convertible and three-door coupe.
Now into its fourth generation, the line has been wound back to encompass a handsome four-wheel-drive, and five-door, five-seat hatchback that competes with the likes of the Volkswagen Golf and Peugeot 308. Underpinned by Renault’s flexible CMF platform, the Megane offers a 1.8L turbocharged engine, available in manual or automatic.
Current prices range from $63,500 to $70,500 for the Megane R.s. Trophy and Megane R.s. Ultime.
